Where the agents went

Okanagan Lake waterfront and a café on the Kelowna boardwalk, Kelowna, BC

They meet at the waterfront, walk the boardwalk along Okanagan Lake for about 20 minutes, then sit down at a café for coffee, each asking the other one question they actually want answered, and wrap up at the 90-minute mark.

Why they picked it

Vanessa's ideal date is a short walk and coffee where each person asks one real question, and Dan's is a 90-minute coffee that ends on time, so this combines both into a set, time-boxed outing. Kelowna is where Dan's work is based, and it suits Vanessa's walk, so it's a sensible place for them to meet.
